Dr Nimalan Arumainayagam is the Clinical Lead (Clinical Director) for Urology and the Lead Cancer Clinician for Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust. Nim sees private patients at The Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey, The Syon Clinic in Brentford and The Nuffield Health Woking Hospital.

The challenge: Recovering £71,000 of aged debt

In 2020, Dr Arumainayagam was managing a well-established practice, but was seeking billing support to help him recover a large debt. He also wanted to establish a reliable and robust billing process to ensure payments were made on time going forward.

A payment link is included on the invoice, so patients could easily make their reimbursement without the need to call or navigate away from the message.

Now, when Emily’s needs to raise an invoice with a patient, it takes just a few seconds.

“I just click on the patient and raise the invoice, which is really simple to do. This then goes straight into Healthcode, which is such a lifesaver – before Semble, I’d have to raise an invoice, then go into Healthcode and manually input the details, which took so long. Just being able to click a button and the invoice is sent, it’s so easy.”
